The Jeanne Lanvin application was produced as part of an exhibition at the Palais Galliera: “Jeanne Lanvin” from March 8 to August 23, 2015.
This richly illustrated application offers you:
> A “Portrait” section which presents a biography of Jeanne Lanvin, the great lady of couture who began her career as a milliner in 1885.
> In the “Creations” section, you will be able to find out more about the main themes that make the Lanvin style special: blue, hats and the kids-girls department, the logo designed by Paul Iribe, stylish dresses by the way. by wedding dresses, medieval or exotic influences, black and white geometry, the 1925 exhibition and of course evening dresses and embroidery.
In each of the themes, a focus on one or two pieces of clothing allows us to make connections with other creations from the house of Jeanne Lanvin and to go into more detail on the details of these works.
This application was designed and produced by Paris Musées and the Palais Galliera, in close collaboration with the Maison Lanvin.
